I'll be part of a private reading at the end of this month for a new play, Onaje, by Baltimore playwright Robert Bowie, Jr., produced by Blue Panther Productions and directed by Eric Reid. A quick description from the producers:

Reno, 1980. A black hitchhiker is hit by a white cowboy and waitress speeding down the freeway on a get-away. The collision becomes much more dangerous when the unlikely trio realizes that two of them are inextricably linked together through the long-buried secrets of their past.
