The Inferno

Dante’s Inferno was adapted and directed by Susan Mosakowski, one of my favorite theatre artists of all time. It was done at Theatre for the New City, with downtown great Nicky Paraiso as Dante and M. K. (Michael) Ryan as Virgil. Everyone else played various roles. Mine included Minos, cracking a whip for my tail,  Filippo Argenti, and Satan, the three-faced Evil One at the center of hell, plus assorted sinners in various scenes. The group picture includes me on the right as an anonymous heretic, with M.K. Ryan on the left, Nicky Paraiso in the rear, and in the center holding my hand, a terrific dancer and performer and a wonderful person, Eric Larsen, who we lost in the AIDS epidemic.
